Drawing on extensive management experience in the food-service industry, Anthony Courcy serves as a restaurant general manager and training coach for Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). In charge of a co-branded KFC and Taco Bell restaurant in Clay, New York, he supervises the operation of a location with combined annual revenue of $3.4 million. He handles a broad array of responsibilities, ranging from the implementation of marketing campaigns to oversight of health-and-safety-code compliance. Besides developing the staff at his own store, Anthony Courcy recruits and trains the management teams for 15 other KFC locations throughout New York.
Prior to joining KFC, Anthony Courcy was a store manager and the director of operations for Koinonia Organic Juice Bar and Café. There, he was responsible for placing orders with suppliers, producing periodic financial and tax reports, and maintaining the store’s profitability. He also worked for Hilton Hotels as a restaurant manager and alcohol beverage controller for a DoubleTree hotel in East Syracuse, New York. During his tenure with Hilton, Mr. Courcy led turnaround projects at underperforming hotels and was named Manager of the Quarter for his achievements on four occasions.
Outside of his professional career, Anthony Courcy lifts weights and has competed in powerlifting events for over 20 years. He holds certification in the state of New York as a personal trainer and nutritionist and remains actively involved in powerlifting as a coach for younger athletes.
